Go for a bicycle ride in Vesthimmerland.
There is ample opportunity to exercise, see the beautiful nature and find accommodation near one of the cycling paths.
As a cyclist there is ample opportunity in our area. In the last few years a number of cycling paths have been created.
Himmerlandsstien
The newest part is Himmerlandstien that you find between Løgstør and close to Viborg. The path is 69 kilomieters and there is access for cyclists, hikers and horseback riders. The path has been constructed on what used to be a railroad and there is access from all the towns along the path as well as anywhere that it crossed public roads.
Vilstedrutenis also an obvious choice. The path is 35 kilometers long and can be found between Rønbjerg and Ajstrup/Sebberkloster Forrest.

At the tourist offices you can find many suggestions to bicycle rides and you are more than welcome to stop by for a bit of advice or free folders.

The Ertebølle path
is recommendable. It is a regional cycling path from Hvalpund to Aggersund and is 45 kilometers long.
The Limfiord path
can be found around the Limfiord. It is a national cycling path and is 180 kilometers long.
The nature path Nibe- Hvalpsund
50 kilometers long and located where the railroad between Nibe and Hvalpsund used to be.
